Nikhil is a product management professional who stumbled upon his passion for product management and has since enjoyed working in the field. He has extensive experience in product management across startups and growth-stage companies.

Currently, Nikhil is a Group Product Manager at Atlassian, where he leads a team of passionate Product Managers within the Jira Platform team. In his role, he oversees several key domains in Jira, including field configuration, permissions, and workflows.

Before joining Atlassian, Nikhil worked at Flipkart, where he served as a Senior Product Manager for three years. He led a team responsible for identifying selection gaps, surfacing selection gap insights to multiple stakeholders, and helping sellers list on Flipkart. Additionally, he was the Lead PM for Smart Fulfilment, an on-premise warehousing offering for sellers, which he conceptualized, built, and scaled to 500+ sellers with near-zero cancellations and <1% breaches.

Nikhil has also contributed to the Indian startup community by volunteering for various events and programs. He has been a volunteer and ex-Part Time Fellow at iSPIRT, a think tank for Indian Product startups, where he set up PlayBook RoundTables and hosted for the Product Showcase event for Indian IT Minister. He was also a Volunteer and Program Manager at NASSCOM Product Conclave, the ‘Davos’ of India Product Startups (in 2011 and 2012).
